General Information

ICG Graded ASE

Since 1998, ICG (Independent Coin Graders) has been grading coins with its first submission in December of that year.

As with diamonds and other rare gems, determining the condition-or grade-of a rare coin is one of the most important aspects of buying and selling coins. A coin’s numeric grade, as determined by an objective third-party grading service, is an overall evaluation of its appearance based on widely accepted factors.

At ICG its graders and staff do not buy or sell coins. Which ICG boasts as a selling point that their grades are in no way impacted by ownership or forcing impact on the market. In which they state makes them truly independent graders of coins.
